Hello again!
It has been way too long since my last update, I’m sorry.
My 7-year-old laptop that I have previously spoken about has finally “given up the ghost”, and my lovely husband treated me to a new one as an early birthday present today. I’m so excited and inspired as it means I will be able to get into blogging properly and expanding on that with photography and maybe even videography in future. Yes!
June is a special month for us. It’s our seven year anniversary, both mine, my husband and my sister’s birthday and we have a lot planned.
I reached a record high of 36,627 steps in a day, and have continued reaching a minimum of 10,000 for 16 weeks now. I have lost over 24lbs since March 16th.
I voted. For Labour.
We went to see George Ezra on his ‘Top Secret Tour‘ at The Bath Forum on June 7th; we had a lot of fun exploring the city centre pre-gig, and the show was brilliant. George is an incredibly talented singer-songwriter, and his performance surpassed my expectations. I especially loved the arrangement of ‘Did You Hear the Rain?’ which is one of my favourite songs, Live drums and brass instruments get me every time.
Lily stayed with my mum while we were at the gig and because things had gone so well, it turned into her first ever sleepover. I always irrationally worry when she’s away from me as I expect her to go against her usual routine and be difficult for people, but I was happy to be proven wrong here. She loved every minute of it, and it all went to plan.
Feeling full of hope for the first time in a while. See you soon.
