Hey Blog,
I’m sorry for neglecting you. It’s not you; it’s me. It has been a stressful few weeks.
We’ve all been a bit germy, but we’re on the mend now thankfully, so I hope to keep you more in the loop.
We took our daughter for her first appointment with the cleft orthodontist. They were lovely, and it all went well. Her teeth are looking good and we are “doing all the right things”. She has an extra lateral incisor, but that is quite common for people with clefts to have. They put my mind at ease, and I am feeling happier now.
Afterwards, we went to see a local nursery and she loved it, so we signed her up. She will be starting part time in January. I am sure it will be beneficial for her from a socialisation aspect, as that is clearly not my forte.
I have been back in contact with a family member who I’ve not seen in over ten years, and unfortunately, it has not been all positive as they are currently in the hospital. It’s not the only health issue in my family at the moment either, so that has been playing on my mind a lot.
After the whole Phil Collins ticket fiasco where I was devastated at missing out, he announced an additional show at Hyde Park, and we will have tickets! We are all very excited, but my step-dad has reservations as it is a standing event. Let’s hope he manages ok.
Oh, and last but not least I have lost 4kg unexpectedly. My weight was stagnant for a while, so I decided not to weigh myself for just over a month and was pleasantly surprised at the result.
