Right, so I’ve finally got the motivation. I found my Fitbit after L hid it in the sofa, and am hoping to first and foremost get active, but also get back to eating healthier. I think it will be helpful to create an exercise/general activity and food log, so it is easier to see where I’m going right/wrong. I’m not expecting anyone to read it; it will be tedious! haha. Apologies if you happen to have stumbled across it.
I woke up extremely drowsy at 7.30 am, it took me a while to get out of bed, but eventually I did and prepared Lily’s breakfast. I let the dogs out, fed them and changed their water. Woke Lily up at around 8 am and got her/her bag ready. Time seems to speed by in the morning, and it was 8.50 am before I knew it. We walk to the pre-school which takes around 10-minutes with L’s little legs. Upon my return home, I got the dogs ready, and we walked for about 45 minutes. I then cleared the garden of dog mess, put a load of washing in the machine and dryer. The dog food arrived, so I put that in the freezer and got some lunch for the parrots (as well as giving fresh water).
I’ve felt quite frustrated with the constant building work going on next door, it’s been non-stop at all times of the day for months and is driving me crazy, so I put on some loud music and danced around for over an hour. That helped my head and managed to get my step goal completed.
Sat down for a few minutes before making my first meal of the day. I decided to re-watch The OA on Netflix while eating my lunch and relax for a little while as I was pretty worn out from all the exercise. Then it was suddenly time to collect L. I walked to the pre-school and met my husband there. He dropped us back. Got Lily’s dinner ready and daddy put her to bed. By this point, I was nearly falling asleep.
