We had a special Mother’s Day last Sunday. We went to At-Bristol; a science centre with an attached planetarium, which was almost my second home as a child. Science has always fascinated me. It was our first visit as a family and Lily was in her element, she relished every moment. I am so lucky to be her mother.
We had lunch at Five Guys, and I had an ‘all the way’ Bacon Cheeseburger in a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. It was dangerously delicious, but still mostly “safe” with my low carb way of eating. It was a “Five all day, son!”.
I had a nasty cold at the beginning of the week, yes another one, but am feeling much better now thankfully. Pretty much everything went to schedule this week, so I don’t have an awful lot to say, but that’s not a bad thing. I’m happy.
My new (or shall I say return to the old) way of eating is going well, no hiccups so far. I am primarily doing low-carb and thinking of adding a 5:2 element, too. I am keeping up with my 10k steps a day and am drinking lots of water.
I am up to a total weight loss of 4kg/8.8lbs, which takes me down to 81kg. About 12kg to go.
